At the December club meeting did you get the present you wanted at the yankee swap? Then again maybe you didn't with Herb's W1KVQ expertise in running the swap anything could come to you and leave just as fast! Fun indeed! Many thanks to all who helped make the last meeting of 2001, complete with the traditional spaghetti feed , once again a great success, along with a large turnout of members. It's been a week since our January Meeting and what a night we had.. You might say the day began with the Sunday night net a great check-in of 20 members and friends of the NSRA , On Monday evening Jan 14th, 12 members joined us for dinner at Sylvan Street Grill, to enjoy a meal together and welcome our guest for the night, Tom Frenaye K1KI. The large member turnout (forty ) was treated to a great talk dicussion and Ques./Ans. time. Tom discussed the various issues before the ARRL and also the FCC, of particular interest was his dicussion on the up coming world radio conferrence later this year, where the future expansion of new frequencies and forty meter issues will be on the topic list. Looking ahead February meeting will feature Mr. Bob Fouracre, sports broadcaster. storyteller and marketing expert in the Worcester area, will delight us with many stories and will truly leave us entertained. You won' t want to miss this meeting and more information will be passed on the net and upcoming meetings, lots going on so stay tuned... In summing up , I feel we ended the year 2001 on a good note and sure have started off the New Year in great shape many many thanks for all your support for the NSRA. Remember join us on the 145.47 Sunday Night Net We will enjoy having you ..Happy New Year and Best

73's to all
