Presidents Corner
September's meeting had a good turnout as the NSRA meeting year began along with
a very strong Sunday night NSRA Net. Thanks for getting the year off to a great start.
October's meeting will feature Bob Hess, W1RH, Engineering manager of WBZ
Radio and Television. Bob will discuss the latest technology in High
Definition Television and answer questions, he may have some video on the
raising of WBZ's digital transmitting antenna. We also will set a date, in
early November for a visit to the transmitter site in Needham. You wont want
to miss this meeting and the promise of a great field trip.
The Board of Directors and myself plan to work hard to make this year a great
one for the NSRA. Stay tuned and please help out on our meetings the
entertainment, the field trips, the public service events, the holiday party
in December , all this and more go to make the North Shore Radio Association
a great and friendly place . Thanks for your help and see you on Monday Oct
14th .
73's to all
